The Wandering Chocoholic

The plans

With only two weeks at my disposal and a huge section of continent to cover, I had to pick and choose. Armed with a flightpass to make huge distances more feasible, I opted for a week in Chile and a week in Argentina. The plan is to fly into Santiago, then head down to Patagonia, then up to the Lakes District, cross the Andes into Argentina, and finally fly home from Buenos Aires.

The trip will span two countries, three climates, two major cities, and over 14,000 flight miles. Staggering.

Only one month left till departure. Time to dig out my summer clothes, hit the stairmaster, and brush up on my Spanish. For the last one, I’ve been listening to a great podcast series called Coffee Break Spanish. I still can’t do much more than say my name or order a beer, but the intro music is cool.

Hasta luego!
