Drive back to St. John’s ahead of Hurricane Maria. Hanging out at Bagel Cafe to wait for the hurricane to pass. Hurricane never arrived. Dinner at the pub, followed by traditional music session at Erin’s. Screech and more Doyle back…

Arrival in Trinity. 1840s heritage cottage B&B. Hiking the Skerwink Trail. Dinner at the Two Whales. Watching Republic of Doyle at the B&B.

Hanging out at cafe. “Matthew” replica tour. Cape Bonavista lighthouse, and hiking on the Cape Trail. Inukshuks. Ice Cream at the Little Dairy King. Elliston for the Klondike Trail and dinner.

Long drive up to Bonavista. Dinner at Skippers, with the helicopter. Amazing evening “lunch” at the B&B.

Picnic brunch overlooking the water. Ice cream at the Captain Dildo store. Lots of giggling over the signs.

Overnight in Placentia. Sunset over the boardwalk.

Visiting Andrea’s old stomping grounds. Hiking the Tickles Walk. Picking raspberries and blueberries. Lots of blueberries.
