Melbourne is a big bustling city with tons to see and do. After figuring out the tram system (complicated at first but easy once you get the hang of it), I spent all day yesterday visiting the sights. The Victorian Arts Centre, the Immigration Museum, the War Memorial Shrine, the scrumptiously delicious Queen Victoria Market, Federation Square, Flinders Street, Parliament, etcetera. Lots of sightseeing. Went out on the town last night with some of my dormmates and experienced Melbourne’s amazing nightlife. The weather has been beautiful and it’s all good times so far here in the land of Oz.
Passover starts tonight, so Chag Sameach to all.
Parliament?
Why would parliament be in Melbourne? Isn’t the capital of Oz Canberra?
Chag Sameach to you too! Any trouble finding matzoh there? Kosher for pesach pizza?
Love the posts! Keep in coming! Wish I was there!

Such a neat travel-blog :)
Hi there,
I see yo have left Middle Earth and landed down under.
Life is so hectic with the finals coming up and the school projects to work on. It is so great to read about somebody doing so many interesting things and seeing so many gorgeous places. These days it is hard to remember there is so much more to life than just work, work, work.
Chag Sameach to you, I looked up the meaning on the Internet. I will go to bed knowing one more word tonight. Yes, only one and not two because I am
sure to have heard that ‘sameach’ word before…
Could it have been in that catchy ‘hava nagila’ song?
I really enjoy reading your posts and seeing all the nice pictures. I am so happy for you that you are having such a good time and I am sure you are enjoying every minute of it.
Have a nice Australian drink for all of us stuck here working and until your next blog,
Marie
