Shawna, Sherri and I flew to Toronto the night before departure, because we were requested to meet up with the group first-thing in the morning at Pearson Airport, even though our flight to Israel didn’t leave until mid-afternoon. Plenty of time was being left for El Al security procedures, ostensibly.
Anyway, we stayed overnight at a suitably generic Holiday Inn near the airport, and not having a car, we walked across various parking lots until we found a suitably generic restaurant for dinner. Early wake up to return to the airport to meet the tour.
